Em and Lihn were learning Laotian, saying O-oo-oh, Oo-oo, O-oo, which sounded funny to my ears. Apparently, the local grandma, their teacher, was occasionally joking around to cheer them up. Reji was making a presentation on her MacBook. And I turned on some music and processed these photos in the coffee shop on the second floor, along with everyone else. In the photos is Jennifer, a yoga teacher and part-time model for these photos. We spent almost the entire day, taking photos with horses, during yoga classes, on a rooftop restaurant, and then on another roof, where we came to take off our underwear and from which a wonderful view of the river opens up at sunset. The final, spontaneous photos, taken here, in my opinion, turned out the best.
It all sounds like the beginning of a new chapter in a book: a description of the place, the main characters, and only then the action. And perhaps that is how it is. Perhaps someday I will tell interesting stories about this time to my friends, relatives or children.
After Vietnam, my travel style has changed. I am not in a hurry anymore, I experiment, I try new things. I am building a normal, calm life on my travels. No, I am no longer in constant tension related to the road, with work or rush, I just enjoy life.
