About two kilometers from my house in Aktau there was a dried-up salt lake. Previously, I had only seen it from the car window, driving past. I thought that it was the same as one of those lakes in Utah, on which speed records are set - solid, smooth, snow-white. But it turned out that this is not so. Two months of thirty-degree summer heat did not burn all the juices out of it. The soil near the shore is quite hard. But already 3-5 meters further the surface begins to look like moss, as strange as it may sound) Yes, like that very soft forest moss, when stepping on which the earth is pressed and wet footprints remain. The only difference is the feeling that this is a slightly denser moss, as if compressed. But the remaining moisture is also squeezed out when you step. A wonderful place, I am very glad that I was lucky to take this series of photos there!
