I stayed in the town of Karakol at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. It is located at the foot of the mountains and a few kilometers from the lake. It is inexpensive, beautiful and you can stop for a while, relax and work. Yesterday I decided to go for a walk in the mountains. Just walk, without any difficult routes or climbs, admire nature, breathe in the mountain air and take some photos for memory. For about 4 hours I walked up through the gorge - small villages, a noisy mountain river, grazing cows and horses with foals, firs, birches, mountain streams, yurts, all this passed by and somehow reminded me of the times in Laos. And local guys gave me a ride back, along with another traveler from California.
