- Let's go horseback riding..
Aigul's words turned into this picture in my imagination: she and her family will ride somewhere in a paddock, or in a field at the foot of the mountains, and I will take a few photos to promote her excursions.
But it was not like that at all. I sat in the saddle for the first time and went with a group to a mountain lake. And one of the local drivers warned - "Dress warmer, it's cold there and it will rain!"
- Chu! - means forward
- Brrr! - stop
Naturally, the voice control does not work perfectly, especially for a beginner in this business))
At first, the road was quite simple, the difficulty for me was overcoming a stream only 10 centimeters deep. And then the mountains began. In some places the horses literally climbed along the steep slope, resting their hooves on the protruding rocks. At times we had to loop around, the horse simply did not go straight because of the slope. There were moments when she refused to go at all, I think it was because of fatigue.
What can I say, the views in the mountains are mesmerizing! But at the top, as the man predicted, it started to rain and a strong wind blew. We had to go straight down. On the descent, the horse could not hold on - it switched from a calm walk to a gallop and accelerated greatly. You sit in the saddle and understand that if she stumbles or slips, then that's it, there will be no stopping, you will fly down the cliffs together. We had to dismount. I must say that the descent on your own on slippery grass in the rain and hurricane wind is not much easier..
Down in the valley the wind died down, the rain stopped, the horses also descended, we got back into the saddles and rode to the camp, I sighed with relief. A hot lunch in the yurt, relaxation and rest - that's how this adventure ended.
From my story it may seem that it was not easy. Yes - that's true, but nevertheless this day resonates in me with warm memories, of course, I liked it and I will remember this moment for a long time.
