Website prototype - universal structure of website content

Thinking about what to fill your site with? In this article, I will share a universal block scheme that will suit most websites.

Thinking about what to fill the site with? What to place on the first screen, what on the second? What content is needed? What blocks are useful to potential clients? In this article, I will share a universal block scheme, which will suit most websites.

The blocks will have explanations, i.e. I will tell you why they are needed. You should know that these semantic elements can be placed in blocks on one page (for example, a landing page) or as separate pages on a multi-page site. Let's go!)

First block: USP

Meaning: We declare what the site is about. The short title should contain the most understandable and attractive information for the client. Don't know how to come up with the right title? Read on the Internet about the scheme for constructing titles based on the "4U" principle.

Second block: Services and cost

Meaning: We present a detailed response to the client's request, we tell him how we can help him and under what conditions.

Block Three: Stages of Work

Meaning: We give a simple algorithm of actions for working with the company, we tell about how the client can receive our service. Here there is no need to complicate and make many points for volume, 2-3 simple steps are enough for the client to understand that he will not have to bother.

Block Four: Portfolio

Meaning: We confirm our qualifications, clearly convince the client that we can do our job well.

Block 5: About the company/Owner/Team

Meaning: Show the face of the company, inspire trust and loyalty.

Block Six: Principles

Meaning: We talk about how we are better than our competitors or what is unique about our approach to work and interaction with the customer. It is almost like omnipresent advantages, but not so hackneyed.

Block Seven: Reviews

Meaning: We confirm trust by showing that we have done our job well more than once and received feedback from our clients. There should be not 2-3 reviews, but 2 dozen! Moreover, there should be both positive and neutral reviews, possibly even with a successful resolution of random conflict situations.

Block Eight: Contacts + Map

Meaning: We tell you how to contact the company. It would be a good idea to attach a diagram with noticeable travel landmarks in photo or video format. The company's details also inspire confidence.

A similar scheme will suit approximately 80% of sites from different topics. Use this universal mechanism and your site will be understandable and in demand by customers. You can see even more ideas for filling the site in my article: What do you need for a website?
